AKATSI COLLEGE OF EDUCATION STAFF VACANCY
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the vacancy of Tutors of the following courses in the College.
AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE
ICT
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
ICT
Applicant must hold a good first degree and a research Master’s degree in ICT.
Both degrees must be in the same subject area and must have served as a Tutor in a College of Education or a recognised tertiary or senior high institution for at least three years.
AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE
Applicant must hold a good first degree in General Agriculture and a Master of Philosophy degree in a relevant Agricultural Science area and must have served as a Tutor in a College of Education or a recognised tertiary or senior high institution for at least three years.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties of a tutor shall include:
• teaching;
⚫ setting questions and marking of scripts of assignments and examination;
invigilation of examinations;
supervision of students’ projects;
⚫ research and publications;
assisting in the administration of the departments;
supervision of students’ internships;
extension work/service to the College and the nation; and
any other related duties assigned by the Principal or his/her representative.

with at least two referees one of whom must be the last employer
Certified true copies of all relevant certificates and Transcripts of Academic Records TSICOL
Sealed letters of recommendation from two (2) referees
