As part of the duties of National Teaching Council (NTC) as a body which ensures teachers are registered and given a licensure under the statisfied condition.
Many are ignorant of the functions mandated of the national Teachers Council(NTC), they are known best for organizing workshops for continuing teachers and also ensuring the conduct of Ghana Teachers Licensure examination (GTLE).
Many teachers are up and doing on their respective roles, working wholeheartedly, dedicated and moving extra mile aside their normal functions, in some smaller communities these teachers are honoured by some immediate personalities.
National Teaching Council also conducts Ghana Teachers prize every year to hardworking and deserving teachers. The council is announcing to the general public about the application and nomination for teachers prize this year,2024.
