2024 BECE SCHOOL PLACEMENTS: SUPPORT FOR AFFECTED CANDIDATES
There has been numerous concerns raised after the release of school placement for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates.
Many are complaining of been placed at a school they did not choose, others concerns is also change of programmes and others not being able to complete a subject of the BECE.
Ghana Education service has release a letter to address some issues, the letter reads;
The Ghana Education Service (GES) understands the concerns surrounding the 2024 BECE school placements. Unfortunately, 10,184 candidates weren’t placed due to:
Withheld Results: WAEC withheld results due to alleged examination malpractices.
Academic Performance: Failure in English or mathematics.
– Absence from Exams: Absence from core subjects or the entire exam.
